A Question of Consideration removes OSB (Oriented Strand Board) from its utilitarian function to position it as an artwork. Produced as a low-cost alternative to plywood for use in construction, OSB often functions as a physical barrier in boarding up the windows and doors before and after a storm or riot, its message being “keep away” and “keep out”.

Here, the OSB panel acts as a window itself-as a physical object, image, and augmented reality. By scanning the QR code on the side of the panel, one opens an entirely different realm of perception.
